If you're experiencing issues with payments—such as failed transactions or an invalid credit card—here’s how to identify the problem and get back on track.
Common Reasons for Payment Failures
- Insufficient funds
- Expired or outdated card
- Bank declined the transaction
- Temporary technical issues
Note: If a payment doesn’t go through on the first attempt, we will automatically retry it multiple times before marking it as failed.
What Does “Invalid Card” Mean?
If your card is marked as invalid, it means a payment attempt failed and the card can no longer be used for automatic payments.
Important: We only use the default credit card for automatic payments. If that card is marked as invalid, we will not attempt to charge any other saved cards.
How to Fix It
You can resolve this by trying one of the following:
1. Make a Manual Payment
Add funds to your account or manually renew a service. Once the payment is successful, your card will be reactivated for automatic payments.
Note: Saved credit cards will only appear as an option for manual payments if two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on your account.
2. Remove and Re-add the Card
Deleting the card from your account and adding it again can refresh its status and resolve the issue.
Managing Multiple Cards
When you add a second card, it automatically becomes your default payment method. This means all future automatic payments will be charged to the new card.
To check or manage your cards, go to:
My Account → Stored debit/credit cards
The default card will be labeled as “Default”.
